As a surveyor with a mine surveying background David calls upon years of involvement in the mining and civil industry. David’s wide-ranging experience includes bulk earth design and surveying, senior project management, light civil construction activities, conveyor alignment, task co-ordination, incident survey investigation and as-built surveys.

On the mining front, David is knowledgeable in both open cut and underground coal mining. David’s skills include drafting of statutory management plans, including Mine Operation Plans (MOP’s), Subsidence Management Plans, and critical lift studies. David has undertaken rehabilitation design, set out and ongoing lidar calculation during constructions. He is a very effective communicator and a well-liked and regarded member of the Mudgee community.

Phillip has 43 years of professional experience at management and supervisory levels servicing local government, industry and the public sector. Phillip has managed many sites in various sectors. His flexibility and attention to detail, along with his communication skills and ability to connect with clients and team members enables him to obtain high quality workmanship and consistently meet project goals and deadlines within budget.

Julie joined O’Ryan in 2022 and brings considerable experience in preparing and managing all types of local development projects. The experience gained working in both the public and private sectors provides our clients with holistic and comprehensive services when it comes to researching, preparing and negotiating their development approvals. Julie has extensive qualifications and is recognized as a registered town planner by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).

Mitchell joined O’Ryan in 2020 and helped bring town planning services into the business. Mitchell’s background in environmental sciences and geospatial information systems (GIS) provides a broad range of skills and knowledge that he uses to support our town planning projects.
